Building Guide for “Arena of Honor” Event

Welcome to the new competitive cross-kingdom event "Arena of Honor". This guide shall be handy for all the Royal Lords and Ladies who are getting ready to participate in the event. 

In this guide, we will briefly introduce what to expect after entering the battlefield, and information about all the Main Buildings sorted by their unlocking sequence.


*Please be reminded all the screenshots below are taken from the Test Server. It could be different from the final released version.


Schedule

Matching Phase (5 mins): Once the in-game Registration Phase is completed, the event will enter its Matching Phase, which will take 5 minutes. 

Preparation Phase(5 mins): Then, it will enter the Preparation Phase. 

Royal Lords and Ladies have 5 minutes to enter the battlefield and deploy their castles, making preparations for the battle.

Battle Phase (55 mins): The Battle Phase will last for 55 Minutes. 

The result of the battle is determined by the Final Score each faction has obtained during the event.

Buildings will be unlocked in waves with intervals of 5 minutes. Buildings each have their different First-Hit Point Reward and Points generate rate. 

Occupying Buildings will take a certain period of time after troops hit the Building, the text “Occupying” will disappear when the status changes.

As for the sequence of building unlocks, in short, the buildings were being unlocked starting from the Castle Deployment Areas (Faction icons) towards the center of the map (City of Glory).

Now, we will guide you through all the buildings on the map according to the timeline of unlocks:

0 Minutes in the Event:

Clan Castle and the 7 Strongholds closest to the Castle Deployment Areas will be unlocked.

Clan Castle: (First + 400, Generate +200/min)

Clan Castles can and only can automatically deploy Attacker Troops against other non-allied Clan Castles. The strength of Deploying Troops can be enhanced by the “Offensive Camp” and “Defensive Camp” Buildings that were built based on occupied Strongholds.

Stronghold: (First + 200, Generate +10/min)

After the occupying timer ends, it shall become a plain field with a “+” Mark. Three different kinds of buildings can then be built based on this field. You can deploy troops into them to accelerate upgrading their level. The higher the building level and number of deployed soldiers are, the faster the upgrade speed.

Trading Post:

Continuously generates points for the faction. Point generate rate depending on the level of the building.

Offensive Camp:

A building that increases the quantity and adds bonuses to the “Attacker” troops deployed from Clan Castle. It will not function if the corresponding Clan Castle is occupied by another faction.

Defensive Camp:

A building that increases the quantity and adds bonuses to “Defender” troops, who are automatically deployed to defend in Clan Castle. The bonus shall also affect the reinforcing troops from the Royal Lords and Ladies. It will not function if the corresponding Clan Castle is occupied by another faction.

5 Minutes in the Event:

The 5 Strongholds far from the Castle Deployment Areas and 1 Altar will be unlocked.

Altar: (First + 200, Generate +10/min)

After it was occupied, one from multiple random bonuses could be chosen to enhance your army. Quite a few different types of bonuses could appear. Bonus will be deactivated upon the loss of this building.

10 Minutes in the Event:

6 more Altars will be unlocked.

15 Minutes in the Event:

4 more Altars and Sept of the Seven near Castle Deployment Areas will be unlocked.

Sept of the Seven: (First + 300, Generate +50/min)

After it was occupied, increase the occupying faction’s healing speed by 100%. Very useful in the long-run. But the bonus doesn’t stack when occupying multiple at the same time.

20 Minutes in the Event:

Dragonpit and Mercenary Camp (near the City of Glory), along with 5 more Altars will be unlocked.

Dragonpit: (First + 300, Generate +40/min)

After it was occupied, it allows your faction to add a Dragon to the “Attacker” troops sent from Clan Castle. You can switch between different dragons in Clan Castle when multiple dragons were added.

Mercenary Camp: (First + 300, Generate +40/min)

After it was occupied, it allows your faction to add a marching animation to the “Attacker” troops sent from Clan Castle. You can switch between different marching animations in Clan Castle when multiple marching animations were added.

25 Minutes in the Event:

The City of Glory in the center of the map will be unlocked.

City of Glory: (First + 1200, Generate +300/min)

Every 2 minutes, Attacker Troops will be sent from this building against non-ally Strongholds, trading posts, offensive camps, and defensive camps, including when the City of Glory is neutual.


Also, after it was occupied, the faction could gain 20% of all other faction’s points. Which is a great start for a total domination, or a great comeback.

30 Minutes in the Event:

Mines near the Castle Deployment Area will be unlocked. 

At this point, all the buildings are unlocked.

Mine: (Total Available Points: 16000)

After it was occupied, the more troops deployed into the mine,the faster the points are generated. Mines could be depleted, and no more points will be generated after depletion.

For the next 25 minutes, you would mainly want to focus on defending your Faction's Clan Castle. Sept of the Seven is also essential since it increases healing speed. Keep deploying troops to strongholds and trying to achieve more bonuses from Altars by occupying will further enhance the "Attacker" Troops deployed from Clan Castle. Once Clan Castle's ownership was switched to another faction, the match could end with a completely different result.
